Jane Emerson Maclin, 77, died April 18, the beloved wife of 56 years to Sam Maclin, devoted mother of Nancy and Chris Kane, Todd and Diana Maclin, and Molly and Bill Matthews; adored grandmother to Adam, Benjamin, and Courtney Kane; Brinkley and Sam Maclin; and Claire, John, and Abby Matthews; and cherished sister to Terry Sawtelle and Nancy White.

A lifelong San Antonio resident and Bridge Life Master, Jane knew no strangers. So many friends and a large, loving family will miss their "Jane": her intellect, friendliness, humor and loving spirit.
