With their daughters and their families, they traveled to New York during their 50th wedding anniversary year and fulfilled one of her lifelong dreams -- to see the Statue of Liberty!! She was always eager to visit family in Asheville and Houston, see the shows at the Majestic and in Las Vegas, have New Year's Eve at the Petroleum Club, enjoy Sunday Brunch at the Menger Hotel, and go wherever there was a Bridge tournament. Her positive attitude on life was never compromised!! She was my very best friend and it is tough to lose your best friend!! We gratefully acknowledge the kind, considerate and comforting care she received from the Doctors and staff at the BAMC Oncology Clinic, The VistaCare Hospice unit and the Forum Healthcare Section.
