Take More Tricks
Beginning Monday, January 2, Barbara Phillips will begin a new series of lessons that will focus on improving your declarer play and defense. The lessons will be held each Monday in January and February from 9:00 - 11:00 am. Cost for the series is $80. Contact Barbara to preregister at (281)367-1383 or (281)651-6550.
1NT Forcing Workshop
Saturday, January 21, from 9:30 -12:30 Barbara Phillips will be holding a one day workshop on One No Trump Forcing. The session will include Lesson, Practice, Q&A, and Handouts. Cost is $15. Pre-Register to bwp281@aol.com.
Youth Incentive Program
The Board of Directors of Bridge Club of Houston is proud to announce this new program. All youth age 17 and under will play for $4.00 per game. We hope this program will encourage young people to take up the wonderful game of bridge.

Open Games: Monday at Noon and 7 pm, Tuesday at 10:00 am, Wednesday at Noon, Thursday at 10:00 am and 7 pm, Friday at 10:30 am, and Saturday at 1 pm
"No Partner! No Problem!" Thursday 10:00 am session, Thursday 7:00 pm session, and Saturday 1:00 pm session. If you would like to play in any of these games and need a partner, show up 15 minutes before game time and the club will have a partner to play with you.
A Swiss team game is held once a month on a Sunday afternoon.
Special games and tournaments (both open and limited) crop up frequently, sometimes preempting regular games and at other times increasing the game schedule. Click on the link to the game calendar.
The club has several games for newer players. The games are commonly characterized by master point maximums. The partnership desk is always an option, but for some games special contact persons are suggested below.
Wednesdays Noon
The Bridge Club of Houston is pleased to announce that the 99er Wednesday Game is growing by leaps and bounds. If you are between 0-99, come join us. It begins at Noon on Wednesday and only costs $5.00. What a deal!
Beginning in August, this game will have the "No Partner, No Problem" ambassador program.
