BRIDGE CLASSES

The Advancing Beginner & Intermediate
Bridge Student
Will begin:

A series of 9 Lessons from the book
“Play of the Hand in the 21st Century”
Will be presented by Mozella Tew

This is the second in a series of 5 books for beginning and advancing players written by Audrey Grant for ACBL and recently updated  by Bette Starzec to reflect modern bridge concepts.  The text books complement the Learn to Play Bridge programs available free at ACBL.org.

These lessons on “Play of the Hand,” focus on concepts for declarer play along with bidding review and guidelines for defense in each lesson. The 9th lesson will concentrate on the convention: Jacoby Transfers.

The students must have a fundamental knowledge of bidding to take this class.
This class will include students with varying levels of experience.

$75, in advance includes the book

(A discount will be given to those students who have registered for one or more previous classes at The Bridge Center)

Students who have previously taken the class on “Play of the Hand” will be allowed to review the class for no charge as long as they are paid up members of ACBL and are playing in the games at the Bridge Center. We will expect you to help with the newer students; help set up the room before class & after class; or bring refreshments on occasion; & to play with the newer students as well as help make the pre-dealt hands.  We encourage our students to review the classes.
