I just found out that "Sharlet" is our Sally. Yes - Rhetts' Quest is Sally Blewett. Rhett sent her an email from a link on our website which, totally by innocent accident, just happened to be copied to my mail box. It was a very lengthly note and much too personal to reveal in detail. For purposes of Bridge Club Communication, it is however appropriate to share some of the thoughts Rhett expressed.
"Since I first met you on the O'Hare Plantation in Georgia, you have been embedded in my fantasies and dreams." Followed by: "I have always been impressed with your beauty, intelligence, and charm. If you have openings in your schedule, I would like to form a very close partnership and play many games with you during my visit in March. After each game, I would enjoy your company for dinner and late night ambiances. My intentions are ambitious and completely overt. You are my Quest."
Will Sally respond positively to this open invitation, or are there issues blocking their relationship? In the next exciting episode, we learn why Sally said: "I'm not completely comfortable with your offer - Rhett."
