Rhett and Sally have be emailing each other regularly.Totally by accident, my mailbox has been copied. It looks like Rhett wants to come early in March, and he may have a different agenda than Sally. I can't reveal all the details, but it is pretty clear the games Rhett wants to play aren't at the bridge table. His idea is to: "pre-empt low level bids and jump to the Major Game", or, "go all the way" to a Grand Slam.
Sally : "I'm not completely comfortable with your offer - Rhett", and, "Partnering as you've described it, is best achieved after we've made a lot of points together". "Rhett, you better learn a few proper conventions if we're going to put those contracts to bed." From her background as an educator: "It's been my experience, Rhett, that you should finish Class Exercises and submit a Long-Term Paper before you go on Spring Break".
