Gene presented the updated schedule and mentioned that we need to update the local events, not just the national ones.

Changing the By-Laws to allow appointed board members to serve out the complete term of the person they are replacing (rather than just the year) will be an agendum at the board meeting. Jim Wueste will present this.

Kevin announced that he and Larry were happy with the financial results of this event even though the turn-out was small. The board voted unanimously that there be another one in April or May.

New Business:

Scorecard:
Steve Bruce wants to resign from writing about the unit's events for the Scorecard. The board suggested that we ask him to stay on until the board meeting in February.

A motion to increase the caddy fee from $20 to $25 per session was voted on. Seven approved and one objection was recorded. This will begin in January.

Forty members were approached to run for the election and eight graciously accepted: Andras Budinszky, Evelyn Cloninger, Hal Deshong, Bill Ferguson, Bobbie Mayer, Mark McAllister, Clint Schuhmacher and Phyllis Tate. At the Annual Meeting, nominations will be taken from the floor. Ballots will be mailed out after the meeting and the results will be completed one week later for four new board members. There will be an orientation and installment ceremony for the new members at the March Board Meeting. The "Board Election and Annual Meeting Events" is enclosed.

January Sectional:
Jim reported that all was ready and that he hoped we attracted 90 pairs for the NAP in order that we would break even.

The meeting was adjourned at 4:30 PM.

Respectfully Submitted,
Diana Rogers, Secretary
