207 Secretary’s
Report April 11, 2007
Board Members Present: Linda Anthony, Charlie Aufill, Joe Black, Mark McAllister, Leonard McCormack, Diana Rogers and Phyllis Tate.
Chairmen Present: Robert Donathan and Jim Wueste.
Mary Anne Laier, President opened the meeting at
the board.
Secretary’s Report: There was an error in the number of members in the report:
Motion: A motion to correct the number to 741 was
unanimously accepted by the board.
Treasurer’s Report: Robert went over the financial report for the board pointing out the amounts spent for storage, the Newsletter, the ballots for a net loss of $2355.
Motion: The board accepted the report unanimously.
Membership: Mark reported that there were 747 members for a net of 17.
Motion:
A unit member was voted
unanimously by the board to receive the Texas Star Award.
Business Manager: Joe reported that the Ace of Clubs awards (certificates) and the Mini-Mckenny awards (medallions) will be presented at the Long Arranger game.
Hospitality: Unit
Events:
Phyllis reviewed the schedule for hospitality for unit events with the board.

Sectional Tournament:
The
set-up for the tournament will be Wednesday, May 2nd at

Business: Caddies:
Laura has requested a co-chairman whom she can train to take over the job when she retires. Some unit members names were suggested.
NLM Tournament:
Charlie discussed at length the multiple problems with the last NLM tournament. The board decided that Leonard and Joe would discuss some of these problems with Beth, President of The Bridge Center of Austin.
