Mentor / Adopt a 0-99er Player Program

The Mentor Program: The purpose of this program is to mentor aspiring duplicate bridge players and give them a window into the wonderful world of duplicate bridge, to help them improve their bridge skills and to help strengthen our bridge community, both socially and educationally. Join our mentor team:

Be a Mentor - We ask that you arrange to play twice a month at a "participating" club of choice with a Mentee (0-99er) assigned to you to Mentor.

Your playing fee at the club game will be subsidized by Unit 207 and the CLUBS.
NO FEE CHARGED TO MENTOR.
Qualifications: ACBL Rank of NABC MASTER (200+points)
Become a Mentee!   If you are a player with 0-99 masterpoints you can join!
You will be able to play with an assigned MENTOR twice a month.
You will pay only the regular club fee.

Austin is having its first ever '99er Tournament for all players with less than 100 masterpoints. The event will take place on December 7th and 8th at the Northwest Recreation Center. There will be two one-session, stratified pair games Saturday and one one-session, stratified pair game on Sunday. A flyer will be published in the near future. One does not have to be an ACBL member to play. Please consider playing at this tournament. If it is successful, future '99er Tournaments will be held.
