Four novice players (Gloria Wilson, Pat Martin, Barbara Hollahan, and Sandra Harris) decided to enter the KOs for the first time. The captain went to buy and entry and received a form with instructions to enter the number of players and their masterpoint totals. When the captain handed in the entry with the number "100" written down, the director returned it with polite instructions to enter the total number of the teams' masterpoints. Upon informing the director that 100 was indeed the grand total for their team, they were congratulated for their courage and wished good luck. These brave and talented ladies went on to win their first two matches and almost three gold points in the process. Take heart all you novices; one can enter the KOs and even win a bit of Gold!
