A "Pro-Am" Knockout format was tried on Thursday and Friday in the Austin January Sectional and proved quite popular. We will offer that format again in the May Sectional.

In a "Pro-Am" team, at most two players having over 2500 masterpoints can play simultaneously.

To meet ACBL requirements, the "Pro-Am" will be a stand-alone event, not bracketed or flighted with other KO events.

NOTE: Any team wanting good competition can play in the "Pro-Am;" you are not required to have any 2500+ MP players.

The Saturday KO's will have no MP requirements and will simply be bracketed as attendance warrants. (There have always been enough teams to form at least 2 brackets on Saturday.)
