28 June 2008 @ 4:43P.M. Our prayers are the most powerful asset we have. We need to keep the following bridge buddies in our prayers: Jim & Gloria's son will be leaving for Afghanistan soon. Carol Walliser's husband Jim went through open heart surgery in Tyler like a real trooper. They thank you for your prayers. It was certainly good to have Flo & Dale back with us today. Carol Sossamon's mother Velma Watkins is in the final days of her battle with emphysema. Carol will be spending as much time as she can with her mother. Pray for both Velma's peaceful final days and Carol as she travels back and forth to Fort Worth. It was great to see Mary Hinkle back at bridge just 10 days after knee replacement surgery. Shirley Lewis had pacemaker surgery and is doing well. Fritzi Rizer is home and doing OK. Susan & Charles Ford's son Chris will be leaving for Iraq soon. We need to keep the following in our prayers Lewicki family, Tina Shaw, Nancy Strain, Gloria Streifel, Houston Holmes grandson and Shirley Lewis. Saint Theresa's Prayer May today there be peace within. May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be. May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith. May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you. May you be confident knowing you are a child of God. Let this presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love. The praying hands are for each and every one of us. Let me know if we need to put anyone else in our prayers. Joyfully in HIS love, Ginger
